Studio Lux’s Christopher Thompson Is Elected into the Board of Trustees of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation

Studio Lux, an award-winning architectural lighting design firm with headquarters in Seattle, is proud to announce Christopher Thompson has been elected into the Board of Trustees of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Established by Wright in 1940, the Foundation is deeply committed to preserving its two National Historic Landmarks, Taliesin and Taliesin West, for future generations, and inspiring society though an understanding and experience of Frank Lloyd Wright’s ideas, architecture and design.

“Christopher is a thought leader in his field, and his work is seen around the world, including at Taliesin West.  His approach to his work demonstrates Wright’s principle that the built environment should have an organic relationship with both the people who inhabit it, and the surrounding world,” said Stuart Graff, President and CEO of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. “We’re grateful for Christopher’s interest in helping us further our mission to preserve Wright’s work, to educate others about Wright’s principles, and to continue his legacy of innovation for sustainable living.”

As the Founder and Principal of Studio Lux, Christopher brings over 30 years of collaborative experience and innovative lighting design solutions to the esteemed Foundation.  “I am deeply honored to be a part of this passionate and dedicated group,”  said Thompson.   “I look forward to continued collaboration with the Foundation as they steward their extraordinary forward-looking vision and commitment to Wright’s legacy.”    As a Board Member, Christopher will serve as an ambassador for the organization and Frank Lloyd Wright’s legacy.  The Board is responsible for making decisions on fiduciary issues, policies, and other affairs.
